What exactly is a vector mask? And a layer mask? Already know what a clipping mask is so no need to explain that.

i think you should just play around with the photo colors or channels

I just mean in general. Like, how did he make that background? C4ds? And how did he do that lighting? By lighting I mean the lighting effects, like the little glowing parts. Stuff concerning the BG.

There are going to be some question that we Dont know the answer to so for right now Idk what a vector layer but i think a layer mask is that rectangle thing you put on the layer Idk

Layer masks change the transparency of a selected area on the layer.
