Hey guys, I was chatting with a friend, and I asked for the top academy's chart. It seems we have been bumped down from third to sixth.

If there's anything any member can think of attracting more member's to TWA, then please post them here.

Here are some things that I think might attract new members:-
-Reviving the Joke Shop(although, this one would be the last on my list, because it might cause problems)
-Adding more games.
-Adding toon threads, that talk about things like Maximillion Pegasus, comics, duels... Mostly toon related stuff.
-Having medals or achievements.

Please post here to see what you think will be good to attract more toons and toonettes out there .

No worries, we are number 4 and 3 on 2 of those lists.

True but it will be fun to do number 1,2,4 i really like to have a joke shop around but this time lets make thing a little less effective .

It would be fun, but it might also be harmful to many members, so that's why it is the last on my list, and it might even be best for it to be ignored. I added it because many new members would enjoy jokes and it will make them duel and post more, although there are danger's for it and it's best that its avoided.

Well i for one would really enjoy a joke shop anyone agree?

Don't try it guys, its locked PERMANENTLY. Although, no one has pitched an idea of how to make this place better, more ideas please.

We could make the classes more active. Afterall this is an ACADEMY....

How so? I mean I get what you're saying...but still how is it bad? From my understanding, they're academies, aka forums mean't to teach duelist. So...if it gets best that must mean they did a good job making it and teaching, correct?

Not necessarily the ranking measures the topic, new members, and messages. They dont get best for who does a better job teaching yugioh.

First off, their member spam topics all the time, thats why they are first, second of all DPDA is devpro based and they arent even close, DNF is for DuelingNetwork spcificly and they at the bottom of the list

Devpro academy isnt the one its CEA tdoane academy

I was explaining why it was getting bad if YGO app based academies got first place

Recruit friends (Not randoms) So you have a frnd at the academy, they do the same thing and we get more members. Since they know you chances are they're gonna be more likely to reply to you and each other. I got someone to join the academy (ultimatebkd) Didn't know him too well and he's very inactive now. That probably wouldn't happen if we got people we actually know to join. As for your suggestions, A joke shop sounds like a terrible idea (We have google). More games is a great idea but not something where you win or lose. Most people got bored of the exodia dice because it was just too discouraging. Why not try something with a competitive score system? I know there's an arcade widget with a bunch of entertaining games we could try. May not be ygo based but it'll be fun competing with others on various simple games. We could also try an academy playlist on SCM Music Player. Simple widget that plays music I don't suggest autoplay unless were using instrumental Not-So-Lyric-Based relaxing music. Medals and rewards will just cause spam. We already tried the TC per post idea and that wasn't too good. More toon related stuff would be amaaaaaaaazing, but i had an old toon thread that didn't last too long. Most replies were on the lines of "I never used them" and "I just like the card art". Toons get no love :(. I know we already shotdown card of the week but I'm gonna suggest it anyway~ Card of the week could be an easy way to get a single card discussion started. It'll also make for a nice poll. It's always nice to have a new poll every week, They're a nice and simple way to get involved. Another great idea, we have a weekly(I think?) gfx competition. Why? Why not a quick tourny for the weekend. Doesn't have to be organized, just 1 point per win vs twa member. It'll help people get to know eachother better (as doolists).

1 Recruit friends.
Answer:-We ask that like a billion times, does anybody do it...?

2 Having a Joke Shop is terrible.
Answer:-We can't do it on Google, your idea of a Joke Shop must be different from what it is. Although, I completely support your desicion, and its not coming back, it's locked permanently.

3 More games is a great idea.
Answer:- Be patient, this is Dex's choice, I think he might do it, I'm not sure...

4 Having music.
Answer:-This was already pitched down due to the fact that it might be hard to add music to the forum, and Dex said that some music is a little too hard-core.

5 Card of the week.
Answer:- This has been refused before.

6 Weekend competitions.
Answer:- Don't you think it's hard to complete a tourney which needs to have a Minimum of 8 or 12 to be finished in 2 days, and one last thing, many people have different Time Zones, although the majority is American, and some people don't even log in to DN and don't have YGOpro.

Hey why not only for a little while until we get more users make the academy member connected in the last 99 hours people will think we are really active and join.

Why not integrate more games into the forum? We already have PS, so we can just see what other popular games we can add. That makes getting people from outlets other than DN or YGOPro easier. Why not change the Pokemon showdown section to JUST POKEMON? PS can be a subforum of a games area where you can discuss game strategies and stuff. We should also discuss online games, see which are popular, and make forums about them. By games, I mean stuff like Maplestory where you can actually write a guide or talk about something extensive. Not sure if anyone here plays Cardfight Vanguard, but if that is popular it would be a good idea.

I'm just trying to say that we should expand to more things than YGO and PS.

... where not doing another section this place is called TOON WORLD ACADEMY for a reason for YUGIOH the PS section was exceptional we will not do another thing like tht new game's about YUGIOH sure.

This is getting crazy guys were only 20 people plz just make them 99 hours for now.
