With the new xyz and stuff, yes, yugioh has become more fast and much more difficult. Not to mention all the new cards still in process

Gee i don't knowwww, firefists went tier 1 on release, harpies got some REALLY good support, the new archetype can't be destroyed by battle or by card effects and swarms, mermails are mermails, what else is there... wind-ups got another loop :|

Even though the game is faster, it doesn't seem that difficult to the point where its broken.

Actually contrary to popular belief, YGO has gotten way easier than it was.
Lightsworn/Blackwing Format required lots of skill. Hell, you could run Ben Kei OTK and still go on a 15 streak, unless you saw someone use Lightsworn/BW.

A deck build that focuses on Equip cards and Ben Kei. That thing gains 1 additional attack for each equip card equipped to it. You can get it to about 9000 ATK, then attack 5 times with it. Interesting deck idea but too damn inconsistent.
