Herald of Perfection: A Spiritual Deck
Hello and thank you for visiting my deck profile! I came into the January 2014 format a little late so I wasn't overly familiar with the major contenders of the format when deciding my own deck. I did discover that Kristya was at three, Nikitama, #101, and Exciton were all now TCG legal which was super duper in my book. The choice was clear, Spirit Fairies were here! Herald decks had done well fairly early in the September 2013 format and since I didn't know what I would be facing anyways Herald just made a lot of sense to me. Well, enough of this let's get to the nitty gritty of my deck.

Main Deck (40)
Perfection Engine

◙◙◙ Herald of Perfection (One of the most powerful weapons in your arsenal)
◙◙◙ Gyakutenno Megami (The sacrifice for the ritual to summon Herald of Perfection)
◙◙◙ Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands (Searches out pieces to make the ritual summon easier to complete & thins the deck)
○◙◙ Advanced Ritual Art (Second most powerful ritual spell in the game, second only to Aquamirror. You do not and should not run more ritual spells than these 2. It will increase dead hands and actually decrease consistency.)
○◙◙ Preparation of Rites (Adds a fairy to your hand and thins the deck. This + Manju = Herald)

Spirit Engine

◙◙◙ Aratama (Adds a fairy to your hand every turn. Note: Aratama is not a fairy.)
◙◙◙ Nikitama (Allows for easy rank 4 plays, and nets you a draw when it hits the grave while you have a spirit on the field. Sweet!)
○○◙ Izanami (Sometimes you just need this. It is searchable though so only run 1. )
○◙◙ Rasetsu (Answer to trouble monsters. Compulsory every turn? Yes, please.)
○◙◙ Yaksha (S/T bothering you? Lol, Yaksha's got your back)

○◙◙ Izanagi (His eff is pretty meh. Izanagi is an easy lv 6 beatstick to drop on the field, but 1 or 2 is all you will need.)

If Solemn Judgment and Veiler had a baby that baby would be called Herald of Perfection :s.

Awesome deck, try Shinato king of the higher plane, and maybe Athena in place of gyakutenna Megami, along with cards of light from the sky.

If you really want fun, add 3 ra's disciple and a god.

Ra's Disciple: When this card is summoned, special summon up to 2 ra's disciple from the hand or deck. you can't special summon monsters, except ra's disciple, and this card can't be tribute except for obelisk, slifer, and ra.

ANd it's a light fairy, and maybe add an HONEST? And Mirror Force, And Dawn of the Herald?
