Reputation : 452Now honestly during the commerical I was a little bit creeped out.
It gave me a jump here and there but i wasn't really SCARED. If I had to rate this movie on a scale of 1-10, my rating is:
6-10.
Not bad, but not great.

- The movie is basically about an accountant or some foo whos company made him go to this village area to sell a house. Our main progegggy (
) is Daniel Ratcliff. yeah idk if thats how you spell it but you may also know him from HARRY POTTER. ( he IS harry ptoter btw ).
So like he leaves his son for a few days because of the work trip assigned to him by his company. He leaves his son with the nanny ( his wife died during birth ) and spend like 5695439393 hours on a train/cart tralvelling. Once he reachs there he notices that the people living there are basically wary of him because hes an outsider. For his work thing, he has to sell this house which is on the other side of a marsh land, WHICH is beyound the village. One there he opens up the house, gets comfy and stuff till he looks out the window...There was a women in black in the distance, something made him look away but when he looked back the women was gone. The creepy part is that the land that the house was on, there was no people living there.
He stays there for the night and looks around, few jumpy parts and stuff. Looks outside, theres a boy walking out in the marshlands. Wtf?
Goes back to town the next day, little igrl dies, people blame him for looking at the lady in black
Turns out that everytime someone sees her, a little boy/girl dies in the town. Apprently she is killing off children! So Harry Potter goes back to the house to investigate, and finds some letters/notes about the house and the family in it. Turns out that in there was a family that lived there. The father divorced the mother because she was metally unstaple and took their son away from her. She was so angry because the father wouldnt let the mother do anything related to the son. One day the son dies because his father lost him in the marshlands.
The womens anger was shown in the letters harry found. ''I'll never forgive him'' over and over. So apprently the lady in black is her eh?
Harry finds out shes killing children because she couldn't keep her own and goes off to make her find peace. He thinks that if he can get her son back to her then she will leave in peace.
Daniel finds the boy in a wagon that was sunk IN the marshlands about 4 inches deep in muddy water. After he recover the corpse they put it in house to see if it did anything. The women in black came, but didnt do anything so harry thought he'd try something else. He opened the coffen that had the women's bones and put the boy in there so the boy is with his mother ''physically''.
So harry thinks that all is well and goes to his son once more. But the women in black's anger apprently cannot be soothed because she made harry's son jump in front of a passing train. Before the son was ran over, harry jumped in to save his son. Yes harry potter dies
It gave me a jump here and there but i wasn't really SCARED. If I had to rate this movie on a scale of 1-10, my rating is:
