It's been worse lol. Maybe next banlist we will have some better options.

In addition, I think they're pretty overpowered as well. "Hey, I'll blow up your field this turn but why stop there?..My next turn and the turn after that all while swarming on my field. K?" That kind of leads to them playing with themselves which gets boring. Hence why I'll just leave a duel if I find out I'm playing an Inzektor deck. If I wanted to take a nap, I'd do it while I'm not on DN.
Dino-rabbits are worse for being easy to play, especially with leviar, but in addition to that, both of these decks are easy to side against. Chain Disappearance and Veilers **** up everything.
I'll admit, Inzektors are not as auto-pilot as Sams were a format or two ago (and still kinda are).
However, they're much deadlier and much more broken. Sams at least gave you some turns as it slowly massacred your field and triple Shi en stopped your S/Ts (if you were lucky). Inzektors just flat-out nuke your field & spam theirs. The more you have to blow up, the more they can summon. Full field isn't as easy to nuke, but they have ways of making their turn all the more deadly.
As for sideability, you can side against many decks, doesn't mean you're guaranteed a win, nor does it mean Inzektors still can't wriggle their way around your sided cards. Don't even get me started on the probabilities of drawing what you need when you need, etc, etc.
Imo, permaban Hornet. It's what fuels the OPedness of Inzektors, and honestly I don't think anyone would care about them anymore if it were. The spamming & Xyzing & whatnot is expected out of most decks nowadays, but the nuking is what makes the Inzektors as hated as they are now, and as loved by bandwagoners.
