I've raised you through your life, never regretting once. I've cared for you through all your struggles, never turning back. I've helped spread your wings, so you may soar through the vast, blue skies. I have seen you conquer and overcome many challenges, things I could of never of done. My happiness was as high as I could imagine you could soar. I have taught you many things, showed you a bond like none other. I was there for you, and you were there for me. Through dark and desolate nights, we still rode on together. We never looked back. I could say I trusted you with my life, I hoped you'd say the same. On that day, that special day. I would set you free, letting you spread your wings for the first time for the first time, and take off. So you could soar the vast, blue skies. As you flew, you looked back only once. I could see a tear in your eye, as you flew into the sunset. Days passed, day and night, I awaited your return. But you never came back. Days, weeks, months, the seasons passed and still no return. I cried every night for you to come back to me. A bond made of steel, was broken like glass under a cement block. You didn't trust me, I don't know why. I cried and cried, for the lost of my student, my best friend.... And most of all, my sister. I still hope you soar the vast, blue skies. To the day I die and the vast blue skies.... Are no more.
