Hello, everyone at Toon World Academy!!! The holiday season is wrapping up (no pun intended :3: ), but it seems that Konami has given the world a little christmas gift: they revealed new cards for the Harpie Lady archetype!Yes, they are new cards premiering in "Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy" expansion. For all the Harpie Lady fans out there (I know there are a lot of them) Here are the cards with their effects:

Harpie Channeler:
Att.: wind Lv: 4 ATK/DEF:1400/1300
effect:
You can discard 1 "Harpie" card, except "Harpie's Brother"; Special Summon 1 "Harpie" monster from your Deck, except "Harpie Channeler" or "Harpie's Brother". You can only use this effect of "Harpie Channeler" once per turn. If you control a Dragon-Type monster, this card's Level becomes 7. This card's name is treated as "Harpie Lady" while it is on the field or in the Graveyard.

Harpies Pet Mirage Dragon:
Att: wind Lv: 4 ATK/DEF: 2000/2500
effect:
Dragon/xyz/ effect
3 Level 4 Winged Beast-Type monsters
This card's effects can only be applied/resolved while it has Xyz Material. This card can attack your opponent directly. Your opponent cannot target "Harpie" monsters you control for an attack or card effect. During each of your End Phases: Detach 1 Xyz Material from this card.

Hysteric Sign:
Continouous Spell Card
When this card resolves: Add 1 "Elegant Egotist" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. During the End Phase, if this card in your hand or on your side of the field was destroyed and sent to the Graveyard this turn: Add 3 "Harpie" cards with different names from your Deck to your hand, except "Harpie's Brother". You can only activate the effect of "Hysteric Sign" once per turn.

To be honest, i'm not really a fan, but the only reason I'm posting this is because this gives me a little bit of hope that someday, SOMEDAY, my toons will come back and be OP as f*** :@yep: . but all that aside, anyone wanna discuss these new cards? :3: :3:

I'm also glad that harpy's are back in action. They're gaining of "Tier 2" is a major step.

We'll see, Harpies have great Backrow control and can swarm pretty efficiently. Given the right cards, I can definitely see them making a comeback.

i always played harpies and they were always good but they are now even better.

Now, I'm completely obsessed with this deck. Even more than Madolche and you guys know I was a master of those cupcake cards. I actually want to build this in real life.

Harpie's Pet Dragon's price has skyrocketed through the roof though. It was around $60 and I believe it's going for over 100 now. fml.

Battle of the Diabetes are gone D:. Anyways, I agree I used to love running harpy's but I couldn't without extra support. These are really good, love the harpy's xD.

I've faced harpies multiple times x.x so OP now i know why xO super effective rape your face devistating But so so tempting to make x)

Harpy's are my favorite archetype, I even dueled Alexio with them.

harpies are no where near op alexio.

They're definitely a lot better off than they were.
