So have you ever had that awkward issue of your opponent not confirming their hand/deck, and they have to? Well here is the basic rules on how confirmation works.

So lets just say our card is Mind Crush. You declare Mystical Space Typhoon. Your opponent discards one. Unless there are 3 MST in his grave, he must show his hand to confirm that there are no more copies. The ruling is if you have the number allowed by the banlist in common knowledge zones, you do not have to confirm. So if he had 2 other MST in grave, he does not need to confirm hand. Cause there is no possible way another MST could be in hand.
On a similar note: A limited card, like Heavy Storm. If you call heavy storm, and your opponent discards 1, no hand confirmation. Again, it conforms to the max allowed by banlist.

Now onto the iffy part of Mind Crush and other naming cards: How much do you have to name. ANSWER: You only need to name enough to identify the card, without there being another possible match for it. For instance:

CORRECT: Tour Guide
INCORRECT: BLS
CORRECT: Karakuri Komachi mdl
INCORRECT: Karakrui Dude.
CORRECT: MST
INCORRECT: HERO monster u just added.

Technically you should accept some of these answers, but you have every right to deny your opponent if they do not provide proper naming. However, this can lead to sharking issues, so just try to avoid it

A similar occurance happens for cards that banish in the deck, such as Nobelman of Crossout. If you banish a FLIP effect monster, unless the maximum allowed by the banlist is banished by a player, he or she MUST reveal his or her deck.
