I need help with something here.. let us say that we have an ZYZ Moonster on the bored, for dueling sake it is

"Number 17: Leviathan Dragon"

Stats: 3 Star, 2000 attack, 0 def Dragon/water type monster

requirements 2 level 3 monsters

Effect: Once per turn you can detatch 1 XYZ Material from this card. this card gains 500 attack. if this card has no XYX Material it can not attack your opponent driectly

so my question is. what if my XY2 has both of its Material attached to it. and THAN i plan another level 3 and use my CURRENT Leviathan Dragon to summon my ANOTHER Level 3 XYZ?

does that mean that EVERYTHIBNG would become an attachment meaning that this NEW XYZ would have 5 XYZ material?

You can't XYZ with an XYZ monster, because XYZ monsters don't have levels. They have what's called "Ranks".

I see, i get it now. I'm trying to see if there is a way where i can duble the amount an Xyz monster has. i know there is a trap card that brings it back from the grave and gives it 1 Material. but.. thats no good its a 1 turn burst. so im trying to see how i can play around it. because im working on an XYZ Macro summon Deck
