Has anyone noticed the sudden increased popularity of this deck?

It's actually very good. It might even stand a chance as tier 1. However they can be easily side decked against by any deck (pretty much), so that's a major flaw.

Why do you think they're getting popular? Have you played the deck yet? What do you think?

My current build, people just want a reason to play the deck. I personally prefer to run the BEWD engine, but thats a personal opinion.

Because players who payed lots of money for Rulers want to still use them.
Hieratic's are good if you know how to side against side deck.
I used to play them a lot :u , 2 good.

Hieratic Rulers lack a Turn 1 impact (The first turn when your opp controls no cards and have 5 card in their hand) but if you open teb, 2 su, wingbeat, shrine/ruler you will most likely have game

They always find some way to go off (if you get a half decent hand). Theyre so simple, a monkey could OTK with them (im worse thn a monkey tho)

Wondering y ppl dont run Redox tho.

they r getting more popular because there r rulers in it try ice barriers with rulers im sure it will be used a lot
